resist and stay healthy

meaning behind this:
the little girl is surrounded by common things that people can do or give to you, which can affect your health in an extremely negative way. at first she begins to give in to those negative things, going further into the dark abyss. until, that is, the hands come in. they are covered in yellow paint, and fight off those negative things by crossing them off with the paint, then head toward her ears and covers them, making sure she doesn't hear anything else that might try to negatively pressure her again. "do not move," they say. "move, and you'll lose us, and we might not come back."
